Älmhults Cricket Club

Did you know that Älmhult has an active and diverse cricket club? Founded in 2016, this club brings together cricket lovers from various backgrounds, creating a fantastic community for the sport.

The club is divided into four teams:
🏏 Älmhults Gladiators – Men’s team
🏏 Älmhults Dazzlers – Women’s team
🏏 Älmhults U15 – For ages 12-15
🏏 Älmhults U12 – For kids up to 11 years old

With players from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, it’s a truly international team. Practices take place on weekends (with breaks during holiday seasons), and youth classes are held in English or Hindi.

If you’re curious to try cricket, you can also experience it through the sports school (Idrottsskolan) run by Älmhult Municipality.
