T.I.A. Älmhult is a community-based martial arts club offering traditional Kung Fu and Qigong/Taiji, welcoming people of all ages and levels. It is a place where members train both body and mind, grow together, and enjoy martial arts in a supportive environment.
Kung Fu (Adult Class) — For ages 15 and up. This class teaches fundamentals and techniques, offering full-body training, flexibility work, and a deeper appreciation for martial arts.
Kung Fu Junior Class — For children and teenagers (from about 8 years old). Focuses on basics, discipline, and courtesy, with training methods appropriate for youth.
Qigong / Taijiquan (Tai Chi / Qigong) — Gentle, flowing movements aimed at improving flexibility, relaxation, balance, and overall well-being — suitable for anyone interested in health maintenance or stress relief.
T.I.A Fitness — A fitness-oriented class inspired by martial arts training, ideal for those who want to move their bodies for health or light exercise rather than full martial-arts training.
Training takes place at Gemöskolans gymnastikhall.
Sample schedule:
Monday 18:30–20:00 — Kung Fu
Tuesday — Junior Kung Fu (two groups: 17:00–18:00 and 18:15–19:15), Qigong/Taiji in the evening
Thursday 17:30–19:00 — Kung Fu (adult)
Fees per term (as a rough guideline):
Kung Fu – Junior: 500 SEK
Kung Fu – Adult: 750 SEK
Note: Often you pay only for the highest-priced class if participating in multiple; there may also be family or senior discounts.
The club is run by experienced instructors who teach students from children to adults with care and respect.
